Luckily, The Warren Center provides professional evaluations & therapy services for children birth to three years old and educates & empowers families of young children through parent education and advocacy. Join therapists from The Warren Center as they show you some of their favorite toys to use in therapy, how they use them and some toys that may be better to avoid.
Learning About Our Emotions with First3Years
This session you and your toddler will learn how to make DIY Empathy Dolls. After the dolls are complete, we will discuss ideas to support healthy emotional responses.
Items needed:
1. Empty toilet paper roll
2. Stock paper (regular paper can work too)
3. Scissors
4. Craft knife (exact-o knife). If you don’t have, scissors will work
5. Markers
6. Paperclip or clothespin

The “Will it float” activity is a fun introduction into the world of Physics. Our little scientists will make predictions regarding everyday objects buoyancy or density. They will learn that buoyant objects float and dense objects sink.
Materials Needed:
• Large tub /plastic bowl filled half way with H2O (water)
• Random toys your toddler loves to play with (hot wheels, action figures, pretend play kitchen toys)
